Sara Evans

Sarah Sarah Sara SaraSara Evans had only one goal in life: To create and sing country songs. Evans has been reported to have said, "God has put me in this world to be an artist." The quote is attributed to John Meroney from American Enterprise. This is what I am passionate about and the thing I'm going to do. Evans sought to be successful by revisiting the old country music that was popularized by Patsy Cline. Hank Snow. Tammy Wynette. George Jones. And Patty Loveless. These musicians Evans considers to be her most influential influencers. The late 1990s were an era when most aspiring country music stars turned to new popular radio tunes Evans established herself in the country genre with songs which reflected the past and reflected her 1997 debut, True Lies. True Lies was not a big hit, despite being highly praised by critics and receiving a 1998 Academy of Country Music nomination for the most female-friendly vocalist. Therefore, for her subsequent album, 1999's No Place That Far, Evans bowed to producers, whom persuaded her to expand her repertoire and eventually, she received the acknowledgement she'd longed for since her childhood. Sara Evans was born February 5, 1971, at Columbia, Missouri. She was raised in Columbia together with six sisters and siblings.
